In celebration of Earth Day April 25th, 2009

 

MIAMI, Florida, April 15, 2009—OXXO® Care Cleaners franchise, the first truly green cleaning franchise in South Florida and in the United States,  will proudly sponsor Miami Goin’ Green, an exciting community event to take place Saturday April 25, 2009 in Miami’s Bayfront Park.

On this day, Miami’s Bayfront Park will serve as the perfect backdrop for The Green Movement which is long overdue in South Florida, but has started to make its mark with companies like OXXO Care Cleaners, having launched green cleaning in 2001, and individuals everywhere trying to lead a more sustainable lifestyle.

 

"We look forward to further educating South Florida about the environmental benefits involved in the use of GreenEarth by our Franchise. We invite everyone to stop by our tent to learn more about the green benefits that OXXO´s service offers, and receive FREE Eco-tote bags so you can return wire hangers and plastic garment bags to our stores for recycling; we will also give away other gifts such as mouse pads, notepads & pens (made out of recycled materials), teddy bears, energy saving lunch bags that keeps food warm/cold), and FREE Dry Cleaning coupons;  (all of these giveaways while supplies last),” said Salomon Mishaan, President and CEO of OXXO Care Cleaners.

 

Exhibitors and sponsors will line the open promenades of Bayfront Park. The fun, outdoor setting will offer two open stages that will showcase live performances and seminars. The Family Fun Zone will host events for the entire family including physical challenges for kids to help promote healthy living. The “LIVE! Experiments Tent” will feature scientist-led experiments for adults and children alike.
