Shoppers can now drop off dry cleaning at Bracknell Waitrose »

The supermarket giant has teamed up with Johnsons’ Cleaners

Shoppers will be able to drop off dirty clothes, duvets and curtains when Waitrose teams up with Johnson Cleaners.

The flagship supermarket in Bond Way, Bracknell, will be one of the first Waitrose branches where customers can access Johnsons’ dry cleaning service at the welcome desk.

As part of a bigger branch refurbishment, shoppers will now be able to drop off and pick up their dry cleaning and laundry while shopping.

It will also offer duvet and curtain cleaning, along with suede and leather care.

Staying in line with the branch’s green ethos, Johnson Cleaners will offer the innovative, environmentally-friendly dry cleaning technology GreenEarth. GreenEarth is a natural solvent safe to use with all fabrics.

Graham Oakley, Waitrose branch manager, said: “It enables us to respond to countless requests for a dry clean service and ensures we can now offer our customers greater convenience.

“The unique GreenEarth technology means that our customers are receiving the best possible service for them and their clothes from the Johnson Cleaners and Waitrose partnership.”

Paul Ogle, Johnsons’ managing director, added: “We are really proud of our relationship with Waitrose, which we have built up over 10 years.

“Putting the customer and service first is key to us at Johnson Cleaners and this initiative supports that as well as presenting a good fit for both parties in being a greener retailer.”
